Celia
Bird | Jazz
Vocals & Piano/Guitar | |
| Celia
has been a singer all her life, influenced by her mother, who was a professional
singer. She has sung in a number of bands in the South East, with lineups including
piano, bass and sax, for weddings, parties and restaurants. Before that, she sang
abroad in the Med, mostly for hotels and restaurant audiences. Having moved to
Suffolk, she is now singing regularly at venues in Ipswich and is looking to expand
her gigs to East Anglia generally, either on her own or with other jazz-influenced
musicians. Celia's influences are predominantly 30's-40's jazz, but she also enjoys
singing blues and latin. |

"Webby" Webb |
Drums/Percussion |
|
|
Well most people now I'm a Tub Thumper, been playing drums for(too
long I hear some say) a long time. Played with all sorts, veried styles etc etc..
At present my life is nearly all percussion related, either playing, teaching,
repairing, building, tec-ing, so if you need anything or help and advice, give
me a shout. If i dont know I will know someone who does. Best moment to date playing
with Nicky Lewin, Esperer, a duo guitar and drums, so intense, wow! Maddest moment,
jamming with Clyde & Jabo, James Brown's Funky drummers, and being on Chad
Smiths Norwich Clinic DVD. Totally mad. Jamming with the boys at Blue Lounge also
takes up the odd sunday but it's great fun, and well done KYM! You keep going,
top man! |
